I've worked every station on the line.

Accountant, IT admin, operations manager, factory manager, assistant GM, and now the person who designs the systems. Each role showed me where financial information gets lost on its way to a decision.

Why finance-first systems

Many ERP projects are configured by people who have never closed a month. The screens work, but the trial balance doesn't tie, intercompany never eliminates, and management goes back to Excel.

I work the other way round. I start from the report the decision-maker needs and the close the accountants have to run, then design the process, the data and the Odoo structure to produce it, with controls that keep it honest.

Today I lead Business Information Systems for Aquarabia: Odoo ERP, BI and reporting, automation and governance across eight companies on one instance.

What I hold the line to

One source of truth

Every figure management sees traces back to a posted entry, with no spreadsheet in the middle.

Controls that fit the work

Permissions, approvals and checks designed around real roles, so people follow them instead of working around them.

Systems people can own

Documented, explained and handed over, so the setup survives staff changes and upgrades.
